Before the hotel lounges and private events, I came up through Toronto’s underground dance music scene.

I began producing my own tracks and soon after attended Harris Institute to dive deeper into music production and audio engineering. My music was released on international labels, reached the Beatport Top 100 and earned support from DJs around the world.

2012 was a turning point. I made my Ibiza debut and won a DJ competition held by Made Event, the producers of Electric Zoo, earning an opening slot on the festival’s main stage in New York. I also spent a decade as a resident DJ with The BPM Festival, performing alongside some of the biggest names in electronic music.

During the pandemic, I moved to Victoria and found my way back to where it began: writing songs and playing instruments. While looking for background singers for one of my productions, I serendipitously discovered the Victoria Sweet Soul Choir. Led by Checo Tohomaso, a seasoned studio and touring musician who has worked alongside Marvin Gaye, The Commodores and Lionel Richie, the choir opened up a whole new chapter of my musical life.

Checo became my music teacher and mentor, helping me develop as a singer and musician as I began learning keys, studying jazz and performing with the choir. I eventually became one of its lead male vocalists.

In May 2023, I self-produced my first solo show since elementary school, performing original songs and select covers to a full house. I went on to perform two reimagined Nirvana songs at Lucky Bar as part of a tribute night, then formed my band, Soultronic, while continuing to DJ events, including a DJ set at the Capital Ballroom, one of Victoria’s premier music venues.

Today, it all comes together: the songwriter, the selector, and the producer.
